Do you work with a Green Team or Environmental Club at a high school or are you interested in becoming an advisor for a student club? Then you may want to learn about Envirothon!
The Washington State Envirothon is an annual natural resources competition in which high school youth demonstrate their knowledge and problem-solving skills on the topics of aquatic ecology, forestry, soils/land use, and wildlife. Natural resource experts design and administer competition tests and activities. Team members get the opportunity to meet experts in natural resource management and learn about careers in the environmental field while competing. This year’s state competition will be hosted virtually May 17-21, 2021.
We’re hosting several webinars for teachers and students to learn more about Envirothon and what it is like to be advisor or part of an Envirothon team. We have two teacher and two student sessions coming up.
